Once again we offered visitors a free ride in the Fun Bus AKA The General - Our 1970 ex-military gun tractor Land rover 101 forward control. It attracted a lot of attention being such a formidable and unusual looking beast and plenty of people climbed in to enjoy the thrill of The General's V8 engine roaring down the high street with the sides rolled up for al fresco riding.

Last year we had bus stops set up around the village but this year we opted to leave these out and popped a sign on the vehicle inviting people to hail us. This seemed to work much better, in fact every time Marty stopped to grab a burger from the Royal Oak's food stall, people climbed in. Three attempts later, he finally got his lunch!

While we carted people up and down the village of Betws-y-coed, we collected donations for Help for Heroes. Given we're driving an ex-military vehicle this is a charity we like to support, you can find out all about their invaluable work here:

For those of you who made it down to say Hi, thanks for coming to see us! Nadolig Llawen I bawb.
