Caving Trips for Scouts in Snowdonia

Taking Groups underground in Snowdonia

Scout and Cadet Groups

Our underground adventure trips are very popular with Scouts, Guides, Cadets and youth activity associations generally. We will run your trip for your group exclusively (groups of 10 or more are not mixed with other parties) and will tailor the activities and challenges to the ability of the participants - making it sporty and great fun regardless of age or experience!

Should you wish to add an educational element to your visit, our knowledgeable guides will happily inform on the history of the mining industry and theScouts Caving Badge lives of the people working within it and can show abandoned artefacts and demonstrate old mining practices.

We meet at our Conwy Falls base just outside of Betws-y-coed and provide all your kit and equipment, even Wellington boots for those who don't have their own.

We can start the trip at a time convenient for your group, or even run the trip in the evening if it suits your schedule better. We can take groups of up to 35 participants if necessary.

Please give us a call or send us an email if you'd like to book a day for your group.

"We went on an underground experience arranged by Go Below in November 2012. The whole day was fantastic and the level of challenges set by our guides, Miles and Lee was perfect as all our Scouts attempted each and every challenge. All in all a day to remember and we would thoroughly recommend it!"
