1,375 foot underground

Your day will start at our base in Tanygrisiau, Blaenau Ffestiniog. We will kit you up with a harness, wellies, helmet and lamp to begin your instructor-led journey down into the bowels of Snowdonia. Cross ancient bridges, traverse catwalks and miners' stairways to reach a point that is 1,375 vertical feet underground - the very deepest place in the UK accessible to the public.

Climb all the way up to the top of Snowdon

From the deepest point underground, climb all the way back up and out of the mine via a different route to the way you came in. When back in daylight, head with your group over to Pen-y-Gwryd to begin a guided ascent of Snowdon (the highest mountain in England and Wales at 3,560 feet)!
